Innovation at the core

Granada advances through
science, technology and global collaboration

Granada is no longer defined solely by its past. It is emerging as a key player in science, technology, and health innovation. The Parque Tecnológico de la Salud (PTS) brings together research centers, biotech firms, and the new university hospital, forming one of Spain’s most dynamic biomedical ecosystems. It’s a space where academic research meets real-world application.

The city is also home to IFMIF-DONES, a major international project in nuclear fusion that will place Granada at the forefront of energy research. Institutions like the Parque de las Ciencias (Spain’s most visited science museum) and strong STEM programs at the University of Granada reflect a broader commitment: to generate new knowledge and prepare students for the challenges ahead.
