Summer Alumni Program.
For years, GRIIS has been a point of departure, a starting point, a place where friendships, ideas, and lifelong memories have taken root. Now we’re opening a new chapter. And we want to share it with you: our beloved community, our alumni, and families.
Rediscover Andalusia at a different rhythm while participating in thoughtful conversations about culture, identity, and current events. Learn, grow, and enjoy yourself, guided by curiosity and a mature perspective.
You can join alone, as a couple, or with friends, family, or coworkers. The program will be conducted in English to ensure everyone can participate fully and enjoy an authentic immersion experience. While language acquisition isn’t the primary aim, the magic of spending seven days in Andalusia will enrich your learning and ongoing development—providing you with culture, connections, and personal growth. An ideal experience for those who want to travel with purpose and experience Andalusia in a deep and meaningful way.
We know you are eager to join, but it is also normal to have questions. We have prepared a list of frequently asked questions with clear answers to help you make your decision with peace of mind. If you would like more information, our team is available to schedule a call and answer any additional questions you may have.
Because some of you haven’t been back in 5, 10, 15, or even 20 years. We are no longer the same, and as Amin Maalouf wrote, “we are in a new world without a compass.”
Neither you, nor Granada, nor the world are the same as they were then, even though the city remains as beautiful as ever and continues to remind us of Wallada. Its challenges, like ours, have changed, and yet they still move us and call us back.
Participants will receive personalized guidance throughout the program, including tailored recommendations for accommodation, local dining, transport, and cultural activities. Beyond the academic modules, the experience offers meaningful immersion in Southern Spain’s cultural and social context. Through curated experiences, local insights, and exposure to regional traditions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how territory, community dynamics, and lived realities shape human rights and sustainability challenges.
GRIIS will organize accomodations, airport transfers, activities, and on-site support from a local team that knows how to adapt to each group’s rhythm. Homestays, workshops, and excursions are part of the experience. We take care of every detail, so participants can focus on learning and discovery.
